Brendan Fraser was at the height of his career in 1997 when he starred alongside George of the Jungle co-star, Leslie Mann. He was one of the most popular stars in the 1990s and early 2000s. However, in the mid-2000s, his career saw a nose dive and his popularity declined. In 2008 he played his most popular character of Rick O’Connell in the third and final installment of The Mummy trilogy. It’s the same year that he went through a divorce.

Brendan took a break from Hollywood to have more time with his children after their parents divorced. However, that break turned into an indefinite absence. It was getting really difficult for him to find work when he wanted to get back on the big screen. He did get some work in those years however the work he was doing did not match the popularity that he had enjoyed in his heydays.

He also tried his luck with TV shows and got a lot of appraising for his roles in The Affair and Trust. It seems like things are looking up again. With his success on TV shows, it was only a matter of time that he made his return to the big screen. He knew he needed to associate himself with the big players in the industry in order to make a strong comeback to Hollywood and his wish was granted when he cast by Martin Scorsese in his coming movie Killers of the Flower Moon. He would be acting alongside industry greats like Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Brendan Fraser recently held a virtual meet and greet with TikTok Star and Cosplayer Lindley Key. Lindley is a cosplayer and during the interview, she cosplayed Evelyn O’Connell (Rachel Weisz’s Character from the Mummy). During the virtual meet and greet Lindley told Brendon that many people are rooting for him. Brendan clearly didn’t expect this and it brought tears to his eyes. He was trying to hold back his tears but it was quite apparent that the Mummy Star was emotional after hearing about the support he was getting from his fans.

The movie business has changed a lot in the last decade or so and when you are out of the limelight for such a long time, you think to yourself if you have to build up your fan base once again. Well, we can easily say that his fans haven’t forgotten about him.

There is no denying that people who grew up watching the Mummy Trilogy or who remember watching George Of The Jungle when they were young thought why he disappeared from the big screen now that he is coming back all those people have only positive words to say about him. Not only will his return make his fans happy but it will also help him earn the respect of a lot of new and young fans who aren’t that familiar with his previous work.

They say ‘the comeback is always greater than the setback’. We hope that this is the case with Brendon Fraser’s career. We’re absolutely certain that he is well on his way to achieving an even greater career than before.
